Community Action Partnership operates a Head Start Pre-School program at Robert L Stevens School. Classes are expected to begin in September. Plans are in place to expand the program to J X Wilson School soon. For more information, contact:

4C’s Wright State Preschool will be located at Wright Charter School and will begin offering classes late August. There will be morning and afternoon sessions available. This preschool is offered without charge to eligible families. For more information, contact:

Eligibility

To be eligible for Head Start services, a child must be at least three years old by the date used to determine eligibility for the Wright School district. (Head Start Performance Standards 1305.4). Head Start services are provided to 3-5 year olds.

Before & After School Care

Childcare is provided at each of our school sites by Extended Childcare Coalition.
ECC is a private, nonprofit organization that has operated childcare for our District since 1986. They provide quality childcare which includes academic programs and homework time for students. Childcare is offered during school off hours from 7AM-6PM.
