Curriculum Guide

Curriculum adopted for the 2011-12 school year are as follows: 

  • Mathematics – Grade K: Harcourt Math; Grades 1-6: Pearson Scott Foresman EnVision Math;  Grade 7-8: Prentice-Hall Pre-Algebra and Algebra
  • Science – Grades K -5: MacMillan Science; Grade 6-8: McDougal Littell Science
  • History-Social Science - Grades K-6: Houghton Mifflin History-Social Science; Grades 7-8: Teacher’s Curriculum Institute History Alive!
  • English/language arts, including the English language development component of an adopted program - Grades K -6: HM California Reading; Grades 6-8: Holt McDougal English/Language Arts
  • Health  - Grades 7-8: Glencoe Teen Health
 
Schools also use supplemental texts to support the above curriculum. If you have a question about texts in use at your child's school, please don't hesitate to ask your child's teacher or school principal.
