Sexual Harassment - Staff, Students and
Job ApplicantsThe Board of Education prohibits sexual harassment of district employees. The Board is also committed to maintaining a safe school environment that is free from harassment and discrimination. The Board prohibits sexual harassment of students at school or at school sponsored or school-related activities. The Board also prohibits retaliatory behavior or action against district employees or other persons who complain, testify or otherwise participate in the complaint process established pursuant to board policy and administrative regulation.
Any district employee who feels that he/she has been sexually harassed or who has knowledge of any incident of sexual harassment by or against another employee, a job applicant or a student shall immediately report the incident to his/her Title IX officer, supervisor, principal, district administrator or Superintendent. A list of current Title IX officers is listed below.

How to File a Complaint
A description of how to file a Title IX complaint is available in the policies listed below, including:
(A) An explanation of the statute of limitations within which a complaint must be filed after an alleged incident of discrimination has occurred, and how a complaint may be filed beyond the statute of limitations.
(B) An explanation of how the complaint will be investigated and how the complainant may further pursue the complaint, including, but not limited to, Internet Web links to this information on the United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights’ Internet Web site.
